Full Stack AI Engineer
Build and ship AI-powered automations that run real client operations across MEA and APAC
- Onsite
- Karachi Hub
About the seat
The AI Operations team at Aidapt delivers the automations, integrations and workflows that clients actually run on. Every week the team ships builds across n8n, ClickUp, WATI and client systems, most of them wrapping AI into real operating processes rather than demos.
The delivery pipeline is growing faster than the team. Two seats are open because the engineers need people who can take ownership of workflow builds, write and debug the backend logic behind them, and ship production-ready work. You will sit with the engineering team, build alongside them, and learn how AI and automation get applied in a working business.
This is an onsite, full-time opportunity at the Karachi Hub. Strong performers will be considered for a permanent AI Operations seat.
What you will own
Build client automations
Build and ship automations in n8n and similar low-code tools, from trigger to final action, for client delivery.
Write backend logic
Write the JavaScript or Python code behind automations, including custom functions, data transforms and API calls.
Connect client systems
Integrate ClickUp, Zoho, WATI, Supabase and other client tools through REST APIs and webhooks. Build small APIs where no connector exists.
Add AI to workflows
Add LLM steps to workflows using the Claude API and other models. Choose the right model and prompt for each task.
Debug and harden builds
Own the debugging of your own builds, add error handling, and make sure workflows run reliably in production.
Test and hand over
Test every workflow against real client scenarios before release and hand it over cleanly to the delivery lead.
Document workflows
Document how each workflow works, what it connects to, and how to maintain it so clients and teammates can pick it up.
Support delivery
Join client calls and internal standups with the engineers, log work in ClickUp, and flag blockers early.
What we need from you
Requirements
Non-negotiable for this role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, completed or final semester
- Has built at least one working automation in n8n or a comparable low-code tool such as Make or Zapier and can walk through it
- Writes working code in JavaScript or Python and can explain a function they wrote
- Has built a REST API end to end, including routes, request handling, and a database or data layer
- Can debug their own code with logs, breakpoints, or a debugger without needing someone else to find the bug
- Understands OOP basics such as classes, inheritance and interfaces, and can describe a sensible folder and file structure for a backend or frontend project
- Uses AI tools day to day and can explain when to pick a lighter model versus a stronger one for a given task
- Able to work onsite at the Karachi Hub, full-time, from the start date
Nice to have
Strengthens an application, not required
- Hands-on use of ClickUp, Zoho, or another work management or CRM platform
- Exposure to WhatsApp Business API or chatbot flows through WATI or similar
- Experience with Supabase or a Postgres database, including writing basic queries
- Basic Git workflow: commit, branch, and open a pull request
- Has used the Claude API, OpenAI API, or similar in a personal or academic project
- A public GitHub, portfolio, or demo of something you built end to end
What we offer

Direct mentorship
You sit with the AI engineering team daily and report to the team lead, with regular feedback on your builds.
Modern AI stack
Day-to-day work with n8n, ClickUp, Zoho, WATI, Supabase and the Claude API, plus the room to try new tools.
Path to permanence
Strong performers are considered for a permanent AI Operations role on the team.
